Brendan McGoogan, Managing Partner & Co-founder

Co-founder and Managing Partner, Brendan has over 20 years experience in architecting, building and deploying large corporate systems. An engineering background led Brendan to an early career within the research arms of British Telecom and AT&T. He went on to work for Sequent, a pioneer of Symmetric Multi-Processing systems. Since then, Brendan has worked predominately in the Financial Services sector in the delivery of large IT projects and strategic programmes. As well as developing and growing Convergent’s business within key clients, Brendan continues to provide his technical expertise & architectural guidance to Convergent’s Tier 1 clients.

Mark Heather, Managing Partner & Co-founder

Mark is one of two managing partners who founded Convergent in 2002. Mark has been responsible for running and developing the companies IT consulting practice, whilst in parallel account managing several of Convergent’s key clients and engagements. Prior to Convergent, Mark was a Senior Manager at KPMG within their ERP consulting practice where he project managed several global IT implementations. Mark’s original background was in Finance, qualified as a Fellow of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Raza Khan, Director Operations

Raza joined the Convergent team in 2003, initially taking up the position of Business Development lead and signing several new clients. In his current capacity as Director of Operations, Raza has key responsibility for ensuring that Convergent’s internal business processes and systems continually evolve to support sustained and future growth. Prior to Convergent, Raza’s background in Corporate IT consulting saw him lead teams engaged in global ERP and transformation projects, across a range of industry sectors.

Chase London, Director Operations, Asia Pacific

Chase is responsible for Convergent’s offshore operations run out of Singapore. Chase began his career as a technical consultant at Pleasanton, CA based PeopleSoft implementing financial systems.  After leaving PeopleSoft, Chase spent several years as a freelance consultant before landing at HBK investments, a leading multi-strategy hedge fund.  At HBK Chase held the position of Back Office Technology Manager.  Chase earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech.

Stefan McKenzie, Director Sales & Marketing

Stefan is responsible for sales & marketing strategy, sales management, business development, alliances and company branding. Prior to Convergent, Stefan spent 7 years at Volantis Systems, a leading mobile internet software company, as Sales Director and then General Manager of EMEA Sales. Before Volantis, Stefan held various senior positions in sales, product marketing and technical consultancy at IBM Tivoli, Sequent, and The Instruction Set. Stefan holds an Honours Degree in Business Science (Comp Sci) from the University of Cape Town.
